I went out the other week with a girlfriend that I haven't had the chance to spend time with much at all lately. We met in my final year of university through some mutual friends and found out a couple days later that we were in the same class. Even though we don't manage to get together often we still pick right up where we left off. We always need to make sure we have a large chunk of time to spend together, though, because we both tend to get extremely detailed when telling stories. It's just how we both are, and its even more pronounced when we're together because we feel no need to cut it short when we both do the same thing.
Isn't catching up with old friends the greatest?
I absolutely love friends like this -- not seeing each other all that much, but picking up right where you left off like nothing has changed!
